An Associate position at SAB Group entails managing a wide range of responsibilities which are all centered around the pursuit, marketing, and sale of Net Lease assets across the country. The job requires individuals who are able to perform at high levels in a time sensitive team environment.These responsibilities and attributes include but are not limited to:Heavy client interaction (both face-to-face and via the phone) - An Associate must possess outstanding interpersonal skills and be able to interact confidently with investors and clients.Strong research skills - detailed research on specific properties (including physical and municipal information), surrounding markets, and tenantsAnalyzing (both quantitative and qualitative) the attributes and challenges of a specific property, its position within the market, and formulating a well thought-out and articulate assessment/argumentComposing written sections of pitches and marketing materials, including Market Sections, Property Descriptions, Tenant Write-Ups, and Executive Summaries which require diligent research, concise writing, and the ability to compose a compelling argument.Financial acumen An Associate must possess a strong grasp of basic financial principles and concepts that are crucial to the underwriting and valuation of real estate. This knowledge and understanding is also critical when composing marketing materials and during conversations with investors.Ability to perform under pressure In many jobs, this is merely a catch phrase - in the Investment Sales Group, it is a necessity. An Associate is normally staffed on multiple deals simultaneously, which are all in different stages, and must be able to treat each deal as if it is the only one.Ability to work within a team structure An Associate is normally assigned to a deal with a Transaction Leader and must be able to work effectively within this framework.
